The Cielo Resort by De Bartolo + Rimanic Design Studio is designed to provide the ultimate exclusive & luxurious resort experience on the Baja California coastline in Mexico. It is built into a cliff edge to provide views of the Pacific Ocean and Isla Coronado.

For more on this project read on after the break.

The design includes three levels with 300’ long infinity edge pools, starting with the roof pool which connects to a swim up bar, a two-storey open air lobby reflection pool and 28 private plunge pools to the rooms. At Cielo Resort, every experience is peacefully inspired by its natural setting providing views through the resort.

The perched location to the rocky beach below is enhanced with the roof top ‘beach’ which provides amenities such as private cabanas, a swim-up bar, volleyball courts & timber pathways off to private oasis’ amongst the palm tree forest. The rooms are designed to be rich in texture and material, but minimal in clutter to intentionally create the calmness of space and a sense of tranquillity for ultimate relaxation.
